Thanksgiving holidays

On Thanksgiving, i had wake up early to go shopping with my family, i don't want to go at all but i know my mom will get angry at me so i just tag along. I felt really sleepy and cold, and want too go home so bad. When we arrived home i went straight to bed because i don't havea ny energy left. :(

Barack Obama, the next president

I felt happy when i heard that Obama will be the next president. You know it's like a miracle happen because in U.S history never have any African American person become president but now things have change http://www.ajc.com/metro/content/metro/stories/2008/11/05/106_year_old_obama_speech.html, but there are two things that i'm worried.The first thing is: There're many American's mayors calling out for help from Obama beacause of a national economic crisis that has slammed budgets in many big cities, suburb and small town http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27583162/. The second thing is that if it's alright to withdraw U.S troops from Iraq, i know U.S.A lost a lot of money and many soldiers have died about this war but if U.S. withdraw will Iraq get revenge ? My opinion is the U.S. troops should stay in Iraq because if U.S.troops withdraw , the Iraq can get revenge anytime they want http://www.usatoday.com/news/military/2008-11-11-obama-wars_N.htm.

In BCIS class we learned a lot of things that i never know before like mail merging, create a table, or write a business letter. This week, we mail merge a letter to the college , i was excited because thsi is the first time we created a letter and send to the college i like.

teamwork

I usually tell my mom what i did in school and about my grades, it's not like i'm still a kid but i want to share my feeling with her. I told her that i usually work alone in every class, and one time she asks me"Why you want to do the assignments alone, why don't you want to work in a group".I answer:"Because it's easy and faster when i work alone, but it's true that i get really bore and tire". Then she said one quote that i remember forever"the power of teamwork is really strong, everyone in the team will help you if you don't understand and you will have a lot fun.And even if you make a mistake nobody will blame you but encourage you to try again"I thought over and over about what she said and it's true.Thanks Mom,love you.

After the huricane IKE.

The huricane IKE damaged many houses and trees,many people got hurt and lost their home. I felt really terible because my house didn't have electricity and water until last Monday,it was really hot and uncomfortable at night,and i got really bored and wish that i can go to school soon because i know that there will be extra days to make up. My back jard was like a battlefield because the branches of the tree and trash were everywhere, so i helped my parents clean up the yard and pick up all the trash. Now i think about last week it's so crazy, i didn't get enough sleep during the storm came because my mom woke me up i asked her why she wakes me up she said that take the camera and take pictures of the storm,but i am really glad that everyone is safe.

My name is Loan Nguyen,i'm 17 years old. My favorite food is sushi and rice,i also like pizza. Kinds of music that i listen to are pop,rock, and classical;i love anime and manga XDDD.My favorite subject are Math and French because Math is really easy and fun, i can do it easily and fast.And i like French because i want to learn many foreign languages and then i can travel around the world,may be in the future i will learn Japan.My strenghs are never give up and always believe myself, you can say i'm a hard worker ^_^. But i also have weakness that is i always complain about everything that i don't like .Whenever i have any tests i always study because i don't want to get low grades,i usually spend about 2 or 3 hours to study.I want to learn more about marketing, and financing .I think if the teacher give us a project, we should divide the work equally and each person need to do their work.I don't know if i make a great team member but i will my best no matter what. :)

I borned in Vietnam,but in 2005 my family moved to America.I was very sad because i had to leave my best friends.Now i'm a sophomore in high school but i still don't have a lot of friends,i felt like i seperate from everyone in my classes.My parents told me that i need to make new friends but it's not that easy but i will try my best.

I want to become stronger

I always think that myspace,facebook,and blogger are boring because if i create one i don't always use it and for sure i won't make many friends.But i think i will make a blog because i want to make friends and become strong.
